Dr Joanne Tomkinson
Joanne recently completed a PhD at SOAS. Her thesis is a comparative political economy examination of the challenge of late development in the age of neoliberalism in Ethiopia and Vietnam.
Dr Kuukuwa Manful
Kuukuwa Manful is a researcher and trained architect who creates, studies, and documents architecture in Africa. She is concurrently a postdoctoral researcher at SOAS, University of London and a visiting postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University’s Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences.
Dr Daniel Mulugeta
Daniel Mulugeta is a Lecturer in International Politics of Africa at SOAS and a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow. His current project is 'Pan-African frontiers and identities: the remaking of Africa in world politics'.
Dr Innocent Batsani Ncube
Innocent is an Usawa Postdoctoral Research Fellow at SOAS. His current project is 'Comrade businessmen: Chinese firms in Africa, the case of AFECC in Zimbabwe’.
